Latest Site Information (Updated August 24, 2010)
Environmental:
- Mastic Trail and Reserve- OPEN. The southern end of the trail is flooded and likley to remain so until the end of the rainy season. National Trust guided tours currently enter and exit the trail from the north end. Hikers are advised to familiarize themselves with Maiden Plum and Manchineel and to avoid these plants. In 2009, the National Trust acquired a parcel of land at the southern end of the trail, adjacent to the original trail head. Signage and parking for the southern entrance is now at the new location.
- Governor Gore Bird Sanctuary- OPEN.Please take care not to litter or dump garbage of any sort, and do not feed the wildlife. Please ensure the gate is kept closed.
- Heritage Beach-OPEN
- Central Mangrove Wetlands-OPEN, accessible only by boat. Please see relevant marine park laws.
- Salina Reserve-CLOSED, no access
- Booby Pond Nature Reserve- OPEN
- Brac Parrot Reserve -OPEN
- The Splits-CLOSED, no access.
Historic:
- Jackson Wall Historic Site-CLOSED, Destroyed by Hurricane Ivan
- Mission House Historic Site- OPEN, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, 9am-5:30pm.
- Miss Izzy’s Schoolhouse- destroyed by Hurricane Ivan, site is CLOSED.
- Watler Cemetery-OPEN
- Dr. Roy’s Ironshore-OPEN
- Fort George-OPEN
- Bodden Town Guardhouse Park-OPEN
- Lighthouse Park-OPEN
- Savannah Schoolhouse-OPEN by appointment
- Eldemire House-Not yet open to the public. Repairs are in progress.

- Grand Cayman- Bodden Town Mission House - OPEN. Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, 63 Gun Square Rd., Bodden Town.
- Little Cayman- OPEN, 3PM - 5PM M-F.
- Cayman Brac- CLOSED.
